This is the Armstrong Foil Master Builder Tool. Designed as a step by step walk through purchasing experienced. Built by you expect in all things Foils. The Crew & Staff At Houston kiteboarding. When it comes to choosing to foil the most important thing is the front wing. So that is where we will start. Below is a list of every single front wing option that Armstrong has made for the Armstrong Foil's system. If you want more details on what each one of these wings are. Please see the individual listings for each wing. A link to the listing will be below. At the very bottom of each of the item's listings will be a hyperlink to the next section of the Armstrong building tool. Picking your Rear Wing
The Armstrong Foils Front Wing option is super important. The front wing's shape pretty much sets the standard for what kind of riding style you are looking for. Each front wing option will ride differently and is designed for different disciplines. A wing that would be good for kite foiling may not be the best wing for wing foiling or a wing of surf foiling that is good at turning on a wave may not be the best wing for downwind foiling efficiently and fast.

Armstrong Foils
Redefining how we learn to foil, the Step 1 (S1) foil range delivers remarkable stability, ultra low flying speed and
an instantly intuitive feel to make the first step into foiling as accessible and forgiving as possible.
Pitch, roll and yaw stability are critical to success when building foiling skills. The S1 design achieves a near autopilot-like level of predictability thanks to a combination of leading and trailing edge sweep, chord length and foil section geometry. The result is an ultra easy platform for first time flyers to learn any foiling discipline.
The S1 foils fly at a remarkably low speed with a high degree of controllability so that riders can practise manoeuvres with less risk and a lower learning curve. When overpowered, the foil reduces breaching with a tendency to fly itself back down when approaching the surface. Because these foils handle speed and ventilation so well, riders can enjoy an exceptionally broad usable speed range in each size. Downturned wingtips provide an extra element of safety.
Built to the same tolerances as our other foils, the S1 range is constructed from carbon composites which provide an excellent strength to weight ratio.
Details:
• An ultra easy platform for first time flyers to learn any foiling discipline. Excellent low speed lift, stability
and recovery from ventilation.
• Leading and trailing edge sweep for stability and a narrower span to minimise breaching.
• Downturned wing tips increase rider safety and improve the efficiency of water flow.
• Proprietary Armstrong A+ System foil connection design offers industry-leading stiffness, durability and
modularity.
• The S1 300 stabiliser was designed alongside the S1 foils to provide riders with the best learning platform
possible.

Armstrong Alloy System
The Armstrong Alloy System was designed to enable riders of all skill levels to chase endless experiences on the water. Its modularity, broad performance range and exceptional build quality empowers riders of all levels to progress without limits.
Modularity is core to the Alloy System design. It’s fully compatible with all our front foils and stabilisers so as riders’ style evolves, so can their setup. Building on the knowledge and technology that led to our industry-leading carbon Performance Mast, the AA mast shape and structure are optimised from top to bottom for an excellent balance of efficiency and strength. This approach to design and attention to detail is exemplified in the Alloy System’s specially machined mast top and SailGP-inspired bottom bracket that are crafted from aerospace-grade aluminium alloys.
The system is outfitted exclusively with premium titanium and surgical stainless hardware for a light and highly corrosion resistant setup that’s durable over time. Industry-leading manufacturing tolerances make for a high performance, beautiful fit and finish overall.
Details:
• Hexagonal fuselage shape is inherently strong, stiff and modular for an easy front foil swap.
• The mast section is 17.5mm thick; efficient through the water, yet strong to withstand the loads of
advanced riding.
• Aircraft-grade 6061 and 7075 alloys for excellent strength to weight ratio.
• Titanium and stainless hardware save having to disassemble frequently so it’s easy to use and maintain
with excellent corrosion resistance. Screws are custom-made M7 and M8 x 1.25.
Tech Specs:
• 85cm (33.5”), 72cm (28.5”), 58cm (22.5”) mast lengths
• 75cm, 65cm fuselage lengths
